Hi all,

I won’t bore you with our full story but I’m just wondering if anyone has been swabbed at the same time, in the same location as a family member, have your results come within relatively quick succession of each other?

Ours came within around 2 hours of each other

falcon5 · 15/09/2020 22:06

Mine came 10 days after DH

slowco4ch · 15/09/2020 22:07

Mine was 3 days after my DH's. Same car, swabbed same time.

RedCatBlueCat · 15/09/2020 22:16

Postal, but put in the letterbox together, and results 24hrs apart.

99victoria · 15/09/2020 22:17

Mine came back in 24 hours, my OH's took 8 days!

Fast90 · 15/09/2020 22:23

Oh dear, these replies aren’t filling me with confidence...

Did you all keep isolating until both results were returned? Even if the first result was negative and you shared the same symptoms?

I got mine through by email at midnight but my kids results are nowhere to be seen! We were on the same QR code....😩

DamitJanet · 16/09/2020 06:49

Yes you have to keep isolating until all those in the household who had/have symptoms have a negative result, sorry!

Fast90 · 16/09/2020 07:11

What are you going to do @Tolacar? Will you all keep isolating?

I don’t know what to do.,.will wait to see if their results come in today but I guess we have to! Only one DS had symptoms....and now he’s perfectly fine. You can’t even call 119 to chase results as they are too busy to take the calls,

Tolacar · 16/09/2020 17:30

Results came a few hours later for my kids. Negative thankfully!

just for future, if only one ds had symptoms then only he needed a test. Once you got a negative test for him none of you needed to isolate anymore.

Well it’s says up to 3 additional people in your household can get tested...if asymptomatic, worth getting tested at the same time. School require siblings to be tested or they stay home.

Mine just NEVER arrived...

Well it was over a month ago!
