Has anyone managed to get a covid test in Surrey?

Keep changing between the drive through / walk through options and refreshing the page but no luck 😔 Been trying since 2am last night! Nearest is probably Gatwick but not sure if we can just turn up?

There is one at Gatwick, one at Chessington and one in Reigate that I know of. All the sites were switched to appointment only earlier in the week. Good luck!

I live on the Kent/Surrey boarder. Gatwick is closest but I couldn't get an appointment. I managed to get booked into Rochester in Kent (after 24hrs of refreshing the booking page) it was quite a drive but nursery won't have my daughter back unless she has a negative test so we went.

Ah so won’t be able to just turn up then 👎 Just going to keep refreshing and hope they finally release more time slots!

I’ve been refreshing all day. Got one at 6.38pm in Maidenhead for tomorrow. I checked again at 8pm just to see if I could get one closer and saw some available in chessington.

There's also a new site in Claygate.

See on a local FB page that if you just turned up early last week, they would book you in at one of the sites. Might be worth just rocking up and trying that

Beckypv - I was on at both 6:30 and 8pm and nothing showed up at all! So frustrating. Might try rocking up early if I have no luck. Thanks all.

I got one this morning - refreshed intermittently from 7am and a load of tests appeared at 9.30am and I got one for the afternoon in Guildford.
We were the only car there!

PS a car in front was turned away as they didn't have a booking

Dont just turn up. It's really unfair to staff working there.

We managed to get a home kit after refreshing multiple times, but were unable to get a drive through / drop-in one. I know multiple people at my sons school have been unable to get one at all. Just keep trying!

Been trying this evening for DS.... no luck. Refreshed about a million times so far... grrrrr. Send kids back to school, and no thought into the subsequent knock-on effect on tests. It's making my blood boil...!

So to get a test in Twickenham you have to book with a Scottish postcode - the MP is asking questions formally about this to Matt Hancock as it’s barmy

There are lots of sites popping up in Surrey. I managed to get an appointment today but had to go into London, from Surrey, it was the only one available. I refreshed repeatedly on multiple devices and one came through just after 10am.

Eventually did manage to get one at Gatwick for tomorrow morning. How long is it taking for them to turnaround? Anyone had one done in the last few days? Poor DS- really wants to get back to school!

DS had an 8am test at Gatwick this morning. Managed to get the slot at 8.15pm last night (having browser refreshed for two hours). Will keep you posted on time to turnaround result.
