I put into google 'local places in my area' At the top of the page it takes you to a BBC link and you put in a postcode. See pic attached. I've put in Birmingham as an example but you can put in any UK postcode.

Use covid messenger

BBC is accurate, changes daily with the govt update or results

I think they are confirmed cases.

I also look at the data on the joinzoe site which tracks symptoms and makes an estimate based on that.

Sadly all the maps are getting worse as we no longer just have hotspots Sad

Also sorry meant to add - that is four days behind, and cases are doubling every right days.

RepeatSwan · 13/09/2020 06:50

EIGHT days, not right days!

This website was set up by a mumsnetter. If you sign up it emails you daily numbers for your local authority. You can sign up to receive numbers from up to 5 local authorities for free.

if you go to coronavirus staging data theres a map at the bottom of the cases, of you zoom in to the area you are intrested in and click on it you can see how many positive tests in a postcode. They only show 0-3 if there have been less than 3 for confidentiality reasons, but thats not an issue unfortunatly where I live.

The one on Sky news is accurate, I live in an area which is marked as an area of concern, we are very close to being put back in to lockdown.

1,191 Covid related deaths? 😳

AHippoNamedBooBooButt · 13/09/2020 08:03

I use the beeb and the official gov website which you can filter by local authority
coronavirus.data.gov.uk/cases?areaType=overview&areaName=United Kingdom
Dd uses the zoe app.
