Symptoms and going to another household

So my daughter had a high temperature last night so I’ve taken her to get tested this morning. She’s due to go to her dads tonight and for the weekend, can she still go or does she have to isolate in ‘my’ household? If she can’t go if anyone has any guidance on this thats can send him that would be great as he’s not the most understanding person and will kick off if I say she can’t go to his.

For info she goes every week to his, so it’s not a one off.

Your house hold needs to isolate until you get a negative result. So she needs to stay with you. If she's positive then potentially she'd infect her dad and anyone living there.

This suggests she needs to stay home

The NHS website is very clear on when to isolate.

I think that too. Unsurprisingly he doesn’t agree, as he thinks we’re all in the same bubble...
