I've got a few concerts booked next year (feb, may and November) I'm thinking of booking one for January.
Do you think they will go ahead?
Or shall I not bother booking

Personally I think January no chance. Sorry.

DramaLlama12 · 11/09/2020 08:28

I doubt it

simplybed · 11/09/2020 08:30

I don't think so either tbh.
It's a standing and seating one at a large arena.
You couldn't social distance at all.

March at the earliest- imho

Def not until next spring. And that’s optimistic I think! There will come a point more normal life will resume with gatherings but I can’t see it being until the latter half of next year!

I have tickets for a few shows which have been rescheduled from this year to early next year. I doubt they'll go ahead to be honest. What's really galling is that I bought them from Ticketmaster and within days of the pandemic being declared, they changed their Ts&Cs - before, if a show was rescheduled, you could keep your ticket for the new date or get a refund. In fact the first email I got about a rescheduled show offered a refund. However pretty quickly they changed it so no refunds were available.

I'm higher risk so even if the shows in March/April go ahead, I'm not sure I'd want to go, but I can't get refunds. Seems quite shoddy that they changed their terms at a time when lots of people will be unable to make the new dates for whatever reasons.

So I've got tickets for gigs at the Hydro in Glasgow for Feb & March next year.
Can't see how we can go from only 6 people allowed in a house to 14,000 allowed in a venue singing & dancing in less than six months.

sherbetlemony · 11/09/2020 09:17

I doubt it though we've booked one for February anyway as everything this year was rescheduled so if it doesn't go ahead it'll be rescheduled or refunded anyway.

megletthesecond · 11/09/2020 09:20

Unlikely.
We don't know when Bilie Eilish is rescheduling yet.

Even glastonbury have mentioned they might move to autumn 2021.

I've got dua lipa jan/the script feb and Sam Fender may...I'm thinking only Sam fender has a chance.
