What was the latest time (of day) you got test results

Hi all,

I’m sitting here waiting my sons test results from yesterday, hoping I get them today. What time of the day did you get results? Did any come through in the evenings?

I had hoped to get him back to school this week if he gets a negative.

Does anyone know if the labs are working around the clock or just ‘office hours’

My family has had results 6am, 2pm, 6pm, 7pm and 10pm.

DP was tested on Sunday at 11am. His results came through by email at just after 3am Monday. He was negative.

It was a drive through test and he had to travel to Norfolk for it and we’ve since heard that there has been an outbreak there, not sure if that had anything to do with why his results came through so fast.

We are still waiting for my daughters results which were posted back on Friday last week, have rung and they say they have received them, but I suspect they have lost them

We tested at 11am on Sunday in the midlands.

Got results at 3am on Tuesday morning.

I was just going to ask this. We tested at 3.30pm yesterday and we were told 24 hours. No word yet, and starting to panic now as we don't have any food in the house and no nearby relatives to help, and while me and DH can happily live on Deliveroo my 15 month old is fussy and needs fresh food.

Also waiting here -29 hours so far ...need to do something to stop myself staring at my phone like a lunatic willing the text to come through

Waiting here too. Convinced it will be negative also need to get shopping etc.

Would be good if you could track the progress of the test, can't be too difficult to make a system to do that as they are barcoded would save calls into the call centre too I imagine

We got ours just over 24 hours later - hope everyone else has had theirs too. Negative - so we can go shopping! Woohoo

In the past we have got them 24hrs later but this time 2 of us tested on tuesday and 3 of us on wednesday (problems qith registering the tests) and we still havent had the results

Thanks everyone, his negative result came through at 9.15 this morning.

Still nothing here. 44 hours so far.

Tested Thursday am. No results. I know it's not covid. I know it's just a temperature because of this cold bug but, the rules say if temperature get them tested. None of us allowed back to school or work until negative test comes.

We had a weekend of plans, a meal out booked for kids and us. All having to be cancelled.

The testing failure is hitting the economy hard, spreading the virus, impacting on education and keyworkers can't get back to work 🤦

Still nothing, posted back last Friday, so 7 days since posting

Still no result here and we are past the 48 hours.

50 hours now for us. Have relatives waiting two hours away hoping to come over if we get a negative result today but I'm starting to think that's unlikely. So hard being stuck in - at least good weather so making most of the garden and trying to keep kids off screens ...but I'm so missing being able to go for a walk etc

Ours finally came by email at 130 am - 63 hours from test to negative result !!
So stressful trying to get a test and then the wait after
