I've had a look at the list and I'm trying to work out what it means for baby groups.

Does anyone know? It mentions playgroups but I feel like that probably doesn't include baby sensory classes etc.

Baby groups are allowed to run as they are classed as educational children’s activity and are organised groups. It was confirmed last night so ours is still running.

Yes so it comes under youth groups and activities

From what I can gather the aim is to stop people gathering in casual groups/parties where social distancing goes out the window. Baby groups/classes have the capability of retaining an element of control and we haven’t heard of massive outbreaks in nurseries so overall it’s a low risk activity so has been included under the educational heading.
