Sykes cottage for 8 booked for Oct, will I get money back?

Booked a cottage to go with brother and sister in law and kids but under new restrictions we won’t be able to go. Do you think we’ll get our money back or will they make us take new dates? Will phone them tomorrow but just wondered what others thought.

I’m afraid that Sykes weren’t a good company to deal with last time so don’t expect them to be over-generous. Good luck though

We were in the same position with them over the summer. Money back was a firm "no" but they did allow us to defer the holiday until the same time next year.

We deferred to next year with no issues (and a 10% uplift). I figured it was better than losing the money all,together.
