DS is 4 and getting tested for new cough but doesn't have a passport. Anyone had this situation and is it OK if they don't? Can't find anything in official guidance.

I went for one yesterday and wasn't asked for any photo ID. The email said it was needed but the only thing they checked was the QR code, nothing else.

Phew, thanks! Took 24 hrs to find a test closer than Scotland, didn't want to be turned away when we eventually got there.

DD had to be tested yesterday and we had wondered the same. DH (who wasn't having a test) took his photo ID and DD's birth certificate with them just incase but no need, they only asked for the QR code.
