If you live in Glasgow....

you now can't visit other peoples in their houses, but you can go to work, kids are still going to school, you can shopping, get on buses and trains, I'm assuming cafes and resorts will still be open, meet people outside. So the question is if you have a holiday booked (obviously not in Glasgow) and you've going with people who you've formed a bubble with who don't live in Glasgow or the surrounding area can you still go?

If you’re in a support bubble- you or they are single adult household- then you can.
In Bradford so similar restrictions for the past monthAngry

We’re not in a “support” bubble but we all in the same family bubble we formed a bubble at a funeral in May and socialise with no one else. Obviously we all go to work etc no school/nursery age children in Scotland or England . Most are coming from England from areas with a much lower than average rate of COVID-19.

I don't think you can. Anyone from those 3 local authority areas are not to visit (households and indoors) anywhere so surely that includes wherever your holiday is.

thedevilinablackdress · 02/09/2020 07:42

Are you staying in the same accommodation?

thedevilinablackdress · 02/09/2020 07:44

And the only 'bubble' you can firm in Scotland is an 'extended household' where a single person/single parent family can join with one other household.

Dreamersandwishers · 02/09/2020 07:47

No you can’t. You could go to your own accommodation and meet them outside or in a restaurant. But if the mighty midget finds out you’ll be in trouble 😂
Sorry, it sucks. Aberdonian here. Count yourself lucky she doesn’t hate Glasgow like she hates us.

happywearingmymaskallday · 02/09/2020 08:06

We are all staying in the same house there are 8 of us in total, 6 from England. I think you’re right we can’t go. Sad

^If people are already in the area visiting family or on holiday then they do not need to leave but are asked to follow the recommendations in this guidance and take extra care when returning home.

However, where people are intending to use self-catering accommodation with different households from affected areas but which are booked in unaffected areas, they should not do so.^

No don’t think you can go, sorry. And you don’t have an actual bubble (only single households can form one) so no bubble specific rules would apply to you.

When are you planning to go? In a similar situation but no one wants to cancel, I think it would be wrong to go though.
