Bowling. Masks. Food and drink.. What should be the correct way.

A friend went bowling. I asked her about masks as they sell food and drink.
She said when they paid the staff said. If u don't want to wear a mask, make sure you buy a drink and keep it next to you.
Implying they were ' bending the rules' as she winked.

I wasn't sure what the protocol is as I'm not a fan of howling anyway. It just got me wondering.

We've been 3 times. Masks in all "common areas" so at the bar, paying and toliets. Alternate lanes are closed and when we were there only 2/16 were open, so didn't wear masks in the lanes. Loads of sanitiser all doors and windows open, felt very safe.
