Hi, so our Child will need to get a bus for a v early start in September. Last article I saw something about dedicated school services they already run being doubled with no distancing. Other buses being prioritised for children during rush hour but then would they have to distance and would those buses run at capacity. If not I don’t think we will be able to use the bus. We are in the middle-ish of all available bus routes so
Plenty of people on them and normally standing room only. DC could walk, for almost 50 mins each a way, it would be too far, along a very busy road I wouldn’t fancy it. Alternatively We could car share. Interested to know what people are planning, I’m
Talking to lots of people planning to drop off.

Our school buses are running as normal but always go past crammed full. We only have one public bus on our route and that too will go past full as they are still running with half the seats taped off . So DH is reluctantly going to have to take DS in the car

That’s what I’m anticipating here. The buses are normally rammed, even with just the kids. I think it’s going to be car share. I might have to trial it, see if bus is possible and just be on stand by to go and pick up if they can’t get on one.
