Large 11-18, 1800 student school. This is for year 10 so 14-15years.

4 sinks - top floor boys
4 sinks- middle floor girls
1 sink accessible - ground floor mixed
1 art room sink - ground floor classroom.

Not allowed to use any other bathroom even when they are traveling around school (GCSE lots of movement) No extra time between lessons, break time 20 minutes to include getting back to the block of toilets and back to next class in a very large spread out school.
No extra time between the time school finishes and the time the school busses pick 80% of the children up.

Hand sanitiser was only ever meant to be a back up not instead of hand washing, it's not as effective plus the school can not afford to supply this all winter (as no extra money) this situation is replicated across all years. This will be the reality in many school, minimal hand washing with no social distancing.

Our school has installed extra outdoor sinks.

Same in pretty much every school. Iv got one toilet and 2 sinks for my class of 30. Downstairs have 8 toilets for 150 children with 6 sinks and then each of the 5 classes also has a sink. School can’t afford extra sinks or hand sanitizer etc as no extra money is being given. We’ve also got one toilet for all staff (so approx 20 members of staff)

Did you say that is for 1 Year group? We have that many sinks for the entirety of my school (1250 pupils).

We are going to rely on pupils bringing sanitiser.

Thai is the reality and why I don’t feel comfortable returning to school.

Yes you describe what most schools have for all students.

My daughter school doesn't even have soap usually. She took her own.

Schools are doing their best on very little budget.

That actually sounds like quite a lot, to be honest. Not necessarily enough for what's needed but far more than most schools will have, especially secondary.

We don't have loads of sinks but we do have wall mounted hand sanitiser in every classroom and corridor.

300 students with 4 sinks in my Dd's bubble.
