Do we think that the testing at airports will take off in the next few weeks?

Or is it just another story to fill the news?

Going abroad and happy of course to quarantine when we get back (WFH) and I will have someone here to do the shopping.

It would be nice to have some progress on testing. My BIL travels to the Middle East and they have testing on arrival.

Not sure what is in the news this AM but one source I've seen for a story on this stated that the testing being envisaged ATM at Heathrow would reduce quarantine to (?) a week or so, rather than completely eliminating the need for it.

I wonder if introduced it will end up being a bit like "fast track"/"priority pass" system, available to those who pay/those in the premium cabins, at least initially?
