Would you/do you feel safe on the tube?

Thinking of taking the kids to London, where we would have to travel on the tube and bus around the capital. Just wondered what are your views on this. TIA

I live in London. Not using the tube loads as I've not really left my local area recently, but on the odd occasions the tube has been fine.
It's mainly been evening or through the day that I've used it (not peak times for work etc) but there's been a lot of space.
Still some people not wearing masks, but I've felt totally safe.

Hi Belle I am originally from London, but have not been on the tube at all during this virus. The DC love going to London so I was going to treat them to a visit. I could try and go off peak but it would probably be over a weekend, so would still be busy I would think. I am surprised that a lot of people have not been wearing masks in the tube though. Thank you for all your help.

I’ve been using the tube for months and am still alive.
It’s actually quite clean and much emptier than usual and preferable to driving on clogged polluted roads.
We’ve got to get back to normal.

It is so so quiet in London and the tube. Just avoid morning/eve rush hour as still busy but nothing like normal. It is quite surreal being in London tourist spots this Summer. We are making the most of it!
