Should we wear masks in cars?

Hi there

My son has asked if I can give him and his friend a lift into town, should we all be wearing masks in the car..? I’m so confused about what we can / can’t do at the moment!!

Guessing his friend is not in your bubble, so masks on, windows open

You are probably supposed to.
And if you can sit the friend in the back while you and DS are in the front, that will add a bit of distance which is a good idea.

Wouldn’t hurt to All wear masks, I would keep all windows wide open as well to circulate the air!
God isn’t it sad we have to think about this!

Mask on, windows open. Even then you'll be less than two metres from someone who isn't in your bubble, so it's not a very good idea.
