Ours was about 48 hours in the end I believe, as you had to order it before 4pm to be able to book the courier for the next day & there was another issue but can't remember now. It was a bit of a palava to be honest.

Thank you. One of my staff members has just ordered one this evening so I assume they won't get it by tomorrow then. Do they deliver them on weekends do you know?

I ordered one on Tuesday at 2pm and it arrived this afternoon. Not sure about weekends but it came via Amazon rather than Royal Mail so you might be in luck for the weekend

I think they do, but possibly not Sunday.

Same as above, ours was delivered via amazon.

Was then a few days wait for results after that.

Ours came via Amazon on a Sunday - I ordered it on a Saturday.

Mine came next day- on a Saturday. However, as it arrived after 10am and the latest before the last post you are allowed to post them is an hour before (and the last post in my priority post box was at 11am), I had to wait to post it till today. you are not allowed to post them on Sundays.

Ordered one yesterday, so I'll let you know. Tracking information suggests tomorrow at the earliest, so that's Weds before I can swab because of the issue with post box timings, and end of the week at best I suspect to get the result. Ugh.

(I tried to order a drive-through - the nearest being 40 miles drive away, not the 13 miles on the government website - and gave up in the end. Apparently you should get a confirmation email. I didn't, and am not prepared to risk a two hour round trip with a temperature to be turned away. The advice on the phone line was "Well you can go anyway - they might do it." Not wildly impressed with how the system has worked for me.)
