Just that really.
My local FB groups are just inundated with people looking for work.
They seem to be mostly young people as well.

Many people have been made redundant sadly

I'm dreading October as the unemployment figures will increase immensely and so many people will be chasing so few jobs.
I've noticed that even the bigger stores have less staff and it's all just so grim for everybody. A friends husbands is 60 and he has been made redundant and as well as his age being against him , if he has to travel to work on the trains the agencies won't even consider him. They are both worried sick and may lose their home.
Job seekers benefits are there to try to get people back into work : where will these jobs be? Will they be hassling people , who are already discriminated against with their age etc, to find a job when there won't be any?
Local school had one small job up for a few hours a week and had 130 applicants , which is unheard of usually !
It's awful and I hope it doesn't get worse but I think it may well do.
All these new places being built : who will afford to buy them?
I hate be so negative , but I really feel for people.
