Booked in for a lash tint and lift tomorrow morning 8am, first appointment of the day. Brilliant, very excited. Heard the news fairly late on today so rang the salon 5 minutes before they shut (and before I'd read anything other than a headline) asking if it was still on. They said yes. I've since read the detail and it's fairly clear that close contact treatments are not allowed to resume tomorrow. I phoned the salon back knowing they're shut and have an answer machine informing them (nicely) that given the guidance I won't be in tomorrow and I'd rebook when things opened up again. The owner has phoned me back and given me an absolute barrage of abuse, telling me I'm wrong, the appointment can go ahead, I need to pay due to my late cancellation (not written anywhere), telling me I'm stupid, a sheep, and that her salon is spotlessly clean.
I really, really do understand her frustration but...I'm not wrong here am I? Obviously won't be rebooking either way given her beautiful character assassination of me
but she's kind of made me doubt myself!
I am actually of the opinion that opening pubs but beauty remaining closed is totally wrong, but equally, I am prepared to follow the rules to enable life to get back to normal as soon as possible.
