Is anyone selling their house now?

We've been on for 2 weeks, 4 viewings all no.

I feel like that's it, we won't sell.

How is everyone getting on selling? Is it worth carrying on trying?

We are. It's a flat but a big one. Went on yesterday afternoon and have a viewing booked for tomorrow morning. Plus 7 enquiries. Its ideal for investors ours though, who will take advantage of the stamp duty break

I’m feel like I’m only person who is not. I was considering it prelockdown but I’m not now. Houses are going fast in our coastal area.

Two weeks is not long - do you want to share the link?

We are - 4 bed semi in London. We've had a lot of interest and five offers. Three were pretty low though and only two were realistic.

We are. We had 4 viewings the day after it went on the market which resulted in two offers for the asking price. So now we are under offer and keeping everything crossed it goes through.

We aren't selling but things seem to be moving pretty quickly in the local area. A house over the road went on the market the week after the agents re-opened - it sold within the week. A house on the next road up sold in a similar time. We're in a popular suburb of a big city.

In contrast, a house next door to my parents is on the market and has only had one viewing in the last couple of weeks. That's in a large town, about 30 miles away.

Put ours on the market end of June and sold in less than a week for over asking price. Sold to first time buyers though and I think a lot of them have been sat around for months unable to do anything so now anything that comes up is snapped up.,

I think the scrapping of stamp duty will be a massive boost for sellers, but long term layoffs and economic malaise will be a bigger negative, so now is probably a great time to sell but not to buy

We will be. Going to do a few tip runs and some decorating in August, then going from there. Scary!!
