Delay in results - text v email

MrsWarleggan · 29/07/2020 11:42

Just wondered if people have had results via both text and email? DH and I have already had our results back within 15 hours by email. However when I registered LO's it asked if they had an email to which I said no (now realise I should have said yes and just put mine down), so they only have my mobile number and we haven't had theirs back yet. Are text results as a general rule slower than email?

I had a test Monday and my text / email results came exactly the same time

Watsername · 29/07/2020 11:46

My text result was 3 hours slower than my email results the first time, but came about the same time for my second test.

There was a delay of about 5 hours between my email and text results

Excellent. Thankyou guys. Its annoying because it was my youngest was the reason we had to test in the first place.. Must remember that patience is a virtue!!

I got my email at 11pm at night (missed it cause I was asleep) and text at 6am the following morning (woke me up!)

My text and email results were received at roughly the same time.

ShellieEllie · 30/07/2020 21:27

My test result was sent by text 6 hours after the email arrived yesterday

Still haven't heard anything. Been over 48hrs now, but been told I need to wait another 24hrs before I can contact them so they can tell me the results over the phone I presume 🤔
