Just seen this through the Zoe app.
Really interesting and hopefully will help identify people that require early intervention

I saw this yesterday, I think maybe in the Guardian or it was emailed via the app - it is interesting that sore throat is mentioned a lot but that never crops up anywhere else (that I have seen).

I do the app each day and it is one of the yes/no on it.

I was the classic '3' but with a bit of SOB thrown in!

SengaStrawberry · 18/07/2020 23:24

Sore throat was one of the symptoms initially when the virus was first heard of from Wuhan. It seemed to disappear when the virus became prevalent here though. When I was unwell with a weird virus in Feb my throat was agony, and I say that as someone prone to throat infections

Mid april i had
day 1 Sore throat
2 cough and for 2w
Chills not sure when though
Fatigue
SOB around day 15 and onwards.
Loss of appetite for weeks.

May have had diarrhoa slightly just before sore throat day
So i dont really fit.
No real loss of taste no headache i remember but i dont get them.

Dp always gets headaches and diarrhoa when we get ill.
He had
1 sore throat
2 dry cough
Headache and diarrhoa.
No fever or chills or loss of senses.

Kids had
Sore throat
Cough that lasted 8w.
Dc2 may have vomitted ?

Dp had a wierd throat clearing for months after so maybe reflux.
Ive had chest pain front and back for 12w. And pain around left rib. I do have asthma though.
Not confirmed but it was odd in that no runny noses. And that usually if it goes to the chest its loose and phlegmy but this never got to that for me.

I definitely do think people experience colds and flues differently.
I get more ill and have fevers or chills and phlegm long coughs.

Well as low vit d correlates to getting more ill i guess people who fight off better. I would like them tk do vit d levels for each of the 6 levels

Crimples · 19/07/2020 08:45

Yes @Keepdistance Vit D does seem to be playing a part, I believe it’s thought that adequate Vit D levels help with formation of T cells immunity, which seems to be getting a lot more attention now
