I became unwell with Covid on 20/3, I have since had an antibody test confirming I had the antibodies so pretty sure it was, I had the tick box symptoms and was pretty unwell.
At that time loss of smell and taste wasn’t one of the symptoms, mine went about a week into being ill, so not actually an indicator as such,my initial symptoms were a sore throat, breathlessness, a hacking cough and I lost my voice.
Anyway nearly 4 months on, I still have next to no sense of smell, and no taste whatsoever , pretty dismal really. My GP has spoken to ENT colleagues who have said nothing they can do and basically that’s it.
Has anyone else had this prolonged and profound loss?
