Summer holiday in wales

Back in Feb we booked a weeks self catering in Wales near the gower peninsula. Please can Welsh mumsnetters tell me honestly is it worth going? Are things opening (we can self cater but like a meal out). Will we be welcome or made to feel unwanted?

Aw i got married there it's so beautiful! from yesterday beer gardens were open but you can only sit outside not in. When are you due to go?

We're going end of August. I know a lot can change between now and then but as we can still cancel for free I thought I would ask.
