Waxing at beauty salon??

I contacted a beauty salon to ask if I could book in an eyebrow wax.
The lady apologised and said due to facial waxing being classed as 'high risk' she was unable to book this for me.
I thought beauty salons are reopening from Monday or are there still restrictions?

Mine called me today, they aren't allowed to do any facial procedures apparently, due to the increased risk.

But yet my husband managed to get his beard done at the barbers. Makes no sense.

I’m booked in for a brow wax 2 Aug, lass doing it hasn’t messaged yet to say she can’t/won’t . She’s going to be wearing a shield, N95, gloves and apron - I’m more than happy for her to go ahead with it . Not sure if she’d lose her insurance or something if she’s caught though .

There are restrictions - no treatments allowed on the face apparently.

They could lose their insurance ... no face treatments .. madness I think
