I have a week off at either end of the school hols. Rest of time wfh although part time hours.
Older child has started going out a bit now but wondering if anyone has any ideas for my dd 7 while I’m working? I feel bad just plonking her in front of screen all the time. Just not sure how it’s going to work.
Even when I have time off I’m wondering what shall we do as I’m in vulnerable group so not reallg up for going to crowded places yet.

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas I can copy😄 thanks

the dream big at home website has lots of live events planned in the next few weeks, that your dd could participate in.
dreambigathome.uk/live/
they also have lots of ideas of activities to do at home.

zoom playdates, she can zoom one of her friends to do an activity together, like making a spaghetti necklace (message their mum ahead of time to organise the activity materials)

if you are working part time, you could look into purchasing a national trust membership and could go and explore the gardens, take a picnic with you etc.

Holiday clubs (sports, arty, general) are starting to open up where I am so DS 8 will be going to some of those whilst I work from home.

Dd is going to a holiday club all summer... I used up all my leave to juggle things while she was off school.

I'd plan the same as you would have done if you are working in the office just maybe not as rigid. Couple days at holiday camp each week or share babysitting with a friend look after each others dc the odd day here and there.
