Anyone have any idea when hospitals may allow visitors?

I know that this is possibly an impossible question to ask but does anyone have any ideas when the restrictions around hospitals will be eased?

My dad was taken in for a fall last week. He suffers from dementia and he is physically very weak due to other medical conditions. The hospital basically won't release him as he requires two people to help him stand so it is too much of a risk for my mum and him. They are planning on moving him next week or so to another hospital for physio. My mum is desperate to see him as they haven't been seperated in 40 years. The hospital won't allow it and my mum is convinced that she won't see him again. My heart is breaking at the thought. 😥😥

My partner went to see his Grandmother in hospital on Saturday. He had to make an appointment and was given a 45min slot. He did have to wear a mask and gloves while there, but was allowed to take herin some goodies.

My local hospital put on social media that they are allowing one visitor per person from this week. It has to be the same person (so your mum would be the person, but for instance, you couldn't go in her place one day), and you get a 30 minute slot- one visitor per so many beds, I think. They make you wash your hands and wear mask/apron. They might have something similar, either already there or coming.
