If you are exempt from face covering, do you have anything to prove it?

I'm exempt from Face covering and dreading Friday, when it's mandatory in shops in Scotland. The bus company I use have a card available there doesn't seem to be any standard badge/card in shops, but I can see that there are a few around. What are you using if so?

My support worker is on Annual Leave so I can't ask her. She did give me a letter before when it became mandatory on public transport, but I want something quick and easy. What are you all planning on using if anything?

Thistle card has an app where you can add a 'I am exempt from facial coverings' sticker to the thing you show bus drivers/shop keepers.
Would that help you feel a bit more confident?

Thank you. I didn't know that the Thistle App could be used in shops too. I'll try that.

I've been using it but you're right that it's more for transport.

The sunflower lanyard people have cards that are retail specific but I am a bit resistant to wearing one.

peer policing will move from buses into high street stores.

I'm not especially keen on wearing one either, but I do want something. Not that it'll satisfy some people. I'll check out the Thistle App thank you.

HelenaDove That's what I'm dreading. Being questioned by nosy parker members of the public.

It looks like you can order a badge from here that says you're exempt from wearing a face mask. This might help, as it would be visible to any nosy parker, and you could just point to it?www.euansguide.com/news/face-mask-exempt-badges/
They say there's a 10 day wait so it wouldn't fix your problem immediately but af least you would know you had something on the way
