Activities for children on a rainy day during lockdown

Dd has been meeting friends outside lately - go for a run, a bike ride, a picnic in the park etc. It's been brilliant

However, I'm at an absolute loss as to what kids/teens can do if it's raining/shit weather. They can't go into each other's houses, swimming, trampoline park etc. There's a long summer ahead and British summer's are notoriously rubbish.

Any ideas?

I think I'm going to put up our tent outside (You can get one second hand on the likes of ebay or gumtree, or get one like this). It's big enough that dd and ds can have 1 or 2 friends over to sit and chat in the garden whilst it is raining, whilst still maintaining social distancing and staying dry.
Following for more ideas though!

They can go inside each others houses from Saturday?
No more actual legislation but guidelines say no more than 2 households at a time, no limit on total number of people.

Looks like cinemas won't be long, I'm sure there'll be other things by the end of July X

How old? Mine have just really enjoyed doing an exercise challenge. We put a load of ideas into a bowl, things like "run a lap of the green, even if it's raining" or "do 10 press-ups, licking a jalapeno each time". A few were nice, like "have a pringle".

I find that any activity made to look like a YouTube challenge video goes down really well.

Run or cycle in the rain then hot bubble bath followed by hot chocolate and a film.

Just make sure you’ve appropriate footwear/tyres. I watched a poor young lad fly over his handles bars after we’d had some rain because he’d not accounted for skidding. I think he got off quite lightly but the poor thing was so shaken up.

Other than that I’ve been stocking up on board games from eBay - obviously you take your chances it’ll have all the pieces but I’ve found a couple of treasures on there.
