Are we going to be able to go anywhere?

We are booked via ferry to go to France in the not too distant future!

Will we be able to go? I'm hoping as soon as they lift non-essential travel we can go? I don't think air bridge matters to us too much as we are heading out there via ferry?

The long-awaited announcement on travel is now meant to be happening tomorrow. Apparently the air bridges have been scrapped. We are due to go to Portugal in 2 weeks and I'd really like to know now if we are able to!

I have a feeling they'll lift non essential travel and the quarantine - then we wait on other countries to make their decisions! I'm hoping France let us in!

Yes, specualtion is there will be a long list of countries that we will be allowed to travel to, and then as you say, we just wait for those countries to agree to us visiting. I am looking forward to the prospect of a holiday but I wouldn't be booking a new one, the stress of will we/won't we is too much!

I think people are confusing air bridges with ferry travel too - essentially some people will or won't need air bridges.

Just a bit scary need to know!!

Need to know here too! We are off to Spain in next few days. Likely to just go and quarantine for 2 weeks when home as we can. Only limitation on our travel insurance is having to pay to get ourselves home if return flights get cancelled. I wod feel better about it not travelling against FCO advice though! Think The Guardian said Bojo is doing a press conference tomorrow. ..

I hope so! I'm sure it's causing me more anxiety on top of everything else
