If you've had covid 19, did you have this?

Reasonably confident that I had the virus the week before lockdown. It was horrid: hugely tired, coughing, shallow breathing and chest pain. I had been in close prolonged proximity with someone who was diagnosed and went to hospital. What I had though was nothing worth troubling a GP over though so did isolation and felt better. The chest pain has now returned. It is just under my breast bone and feels a bit like a pulled muscle. I have shallow breathing. My neck hurts and I have a headache. Although it all sounds very dramatic, none of it is actually stopping me from carrying on. I'm just very moany and ready for bed! I'm just wondering if it is a Covid 19 return and if it sounds like it is, should I get a test even though I've probably had it before?

I wonder about pericarditis. Which can have nothing to do with covid. Folk will be telling you to go to A&E with chest pain.

Yeah I know but I have had it for days so it doesn't seem life threatening or anything. Will look up your suggestion, thanks.

I really think it’s worth dialling 111. You shouldn’t ignore chest pain.

My symptoms keep re flaring up. I have spells of wheeziness, neck aches, throat irritation and pain, brain fog and tiredness. I had a virus (the virus?) at the end of January, my GP says the pattern of symptoms fits. I am technically undiagnosed through.

I had a virus which my gp now thinks was possibly 'the' virus in Feb. I felt awful for a good 3/4 weeks but even now still suffering with slight chest pain and shortness of breath at times. I have good days and bad.

I think I probably had it in feb. Still get the odd stab in the chest and it's sometimes an effort to get a really deep breath in. I bike 50+ miles a week so shouldn't really have problems.

You might want to get to the bottom of this op

Dr Google agrees that it's pleurisy. It really hurts. But feels ridiculous to bother the doctor in the middle of a global pandemic when I am not knocked off my feet. I don't LOOK ill. DH clearly thinks I am making unnecessary fuss.
