I've copied this thread I started in Chat yesterday but the title says it all really - due to the government guidance being very difficult to interpret and many playgrounds run by town and parish councils will not re-open.

If this bothers you as much as it does me, please contact your MP, local council and publicise the issue as much as you can. Hopefully with pressure and noise the guidance will change (we all know lot of people have and will climb in and use them anyway, but not everyone can do this so please help in pushing for a proper solution).

I will be taking my kids in the park next week regardless. Hand gel on afterwards. I’ll even risk being snapped and put on the local area Facebook page. Enough is enough, pubs are opening so my kids WILL be going on the swings and slides.

You can’t take here as all the gates are too high to climb and they are padlocked, I’m dreading the summer holidays
