I’ve started coughing - booked a test for tomorrow!

October earliest and yes arrrh!

October earliest for test?!!! I've just booked one for in 3 hours!

My friends dd was tested for a cough yesterday. She's 5 and has been back to school for a week.

This is how life will be now.

What were your results?

Test came back 18 hours later - both me and DH are negative.

I guess it really is just a cough then!

Oh and the test was absolutely fine. Gagged when the swab was stuck in my throat. I had read that the nasal swab was painful but it just tickled.

That's great news. Our immune systems will be awful after lockdown!

18 hours sounds good. I've just been so hope I found out before lunch tomorrow. The worst for me was the throat- I really thought I would be sick. But then again I find taking soluble paracetamol bad...

Had one yesterday and the nose one was horrible, I had to push the hand away! Waiting for the result.....
