Are you planning on travelling to stay with relatives in a different county this summer?

Every year we visit relatives in Devon for a week or two over summer, and they’ve started asking when we’ll be down this year. I know soon it will be allowed in the rules but I can’t shake the feeling of ‘what if’ and the awful guilt I’d feel if we brought Covid down with us. On one hand we need to start living life again but on the other I’m still finding all a bit worrying.
Just wondered what others views on this were?

We usually you up to the Manchester area to see my son and family but we don't drive and need to stay in a hotel so that's off the menu. When Wales opens we might go to see my dad as a child stay with him. My DD and her family live less than 10 miles away so we're hoping they can come up to us and bubble . The only problem with this is the DSiL is shielding due to Chron's.

Yes we are staying overnight in a self catering cottage in Wales with family next month..

And we’ll be coming from Yorkshire.

Yes we will be visiting family in Wiltshire, friends in Cheshire and going to our cottage in Wales.

Obviously we’ll make sure we all feel well beforehand etc but if I’m expected to work as normal I want to be able to do other things as normal too (within guidance, of course).
