Why can't they open? It makes no sense with so many other places opening. This would make the biggest difference to our family with 2 toddlers and no outside space to play.

I've a friend though who is a nail technician and they've put Perspex screens up with slots for your hands- surely safer than a hairdresser who will need to stand in front and to the side of me to cut my fringe?

FrugiFan · 23/06/2020 15:11

They're allowed to open "provided they can do so safely". I'm sure some councils/owners will keep them closed anyway because they cant keep them "safe", just like some zoos, schools, childcare settings etc. have chosen not to open yet

Mummyshark- hairdressers will wear those visor things to protect their face

Shame they can't ask people having their nails done to wash their hands so that they are clean to handle

The first thing that needs to happen in my local play area is someone needs to dig up all the thistles that have grown!

My daughter is so blooming excited to go on a slide 😂 I think it’s the thing she’s missed the most in lockdown ha! Doesn’t help plenty of kids round us have been using the local park regardless. It’s caused many tears when I’ve said no!
