Just looked at my calendar and DC’s school are set to have one next Friday. Are schools still using those allocated days?

As they are for ‘In Service Training’ some may very well be, if that training is currently available.

Ours did. They set a whole school creative project for that day

DDs school is not taking on and are setting work as usual that day.

Yes dh’s school are having a day of zoom meetings etc. It’s all important stuff that needs to be done before September.

Ours are, we had one before the May half term and no work was set.

We used ours for online training on use of teams, setting work, mental health awareness etc.

I guess the next one will be focused on school return, changes to behaviour policy and use of online assessments
