I feel this is a group that is overlooked. During lockdown they have continued to have to come to work with no social distancing on the wards. They have had to look after patients with Covid with very little PPE initially although there are face masks now. They also have to try and interpret all the various guidelines that come in while dealing with the distress of patients isolated in their room, not allowed family to visit, no leave, not allowed to go to the shops. And of course all the increased anxiety among patients. They come in each day and get on with it. Thank you psych ward workers!
