What is the government plan now?

Presumably they don't want a 2nd wave and lock-down...

Is it to work to eradicating like New Zealand and then have tighter controls on borders?

It's Boris' birthday this week. I believe the current strategy is for him to wish really, really hard for a vaccine when he blows out his candles.

And then just hope for the best.
