I know the review is tomorrow but when's the next big announcement? Will it be Sunday again?

Thanks

I'd like to know too. So confused now. Three people who are not family have asked if we want to be a bubble with them cringe. I don't want to be in anyone's bubble. Starting to miss proper lock-down a peaceful life.

Maybe no big announcement? But otoh they do have to clearly tell us the results of the review tomorrow, schools and businesses need to know if they're definitely opening from 1st....

There was once talk of the final announcement to confirm the school opening on Thursday but I think everyone is bored of that and is assuming they are opening.

They're definitely going to tell us the results of the lockdown review tomorrow, but whether it will be just in the daily briefing or something more 🤷🏻‍♀️

Roryrunner

Are you not missing any friends?

madasamarchhare · 27/05/2020 21:05

Roryrunner I must agree this peaceful life has been very welcome. My parents have both passed away so don’t have them to see. I have sisters who I’m in daily contact with and Dh is in daily contact with his family too. But have enjoyed pleasing ourselves, no one turning up unexpectedly, no rushing to be up first thing in the morning and rushing here there and everywhere all day. No pressure to be anywhere or do anything at all. My children have been in virtual contact with their friends. Studying virtually and receiving good feedback from teachers. Myself and dh are still working as we are essential workers so we don’t have money worries. But it has been a reset for us on our normal life and I dare say we will revert to how things were once we are able. But this time has been appreciated. I realise everyone is not so fortunate though.

I don’t want or need any bubbles either. I see my parent from a distance on the drive, and wouldn’t be comfortable with anything more for a while. And my friends are mostly an hour or two drive away, so unless toilets open it’s just not doable as my middle age bladder just won’t cope.

Flixsfoilball · 27/05/2020 22:37

I hate the whole bubble concept, not only do I think it's completely unworkable for most people to do it properly, it also brings back awful memories of waiting to be picked for a team at school.

We'll just stay in our own little bubble thanks
