Being allowed to visit one other household every two weeks

The was mentioned as an alternative to the exclusive ‘bubbles’ notion, in another thread. Instead of an exclusive circle, the idea is that we can visit one other household every two weeks, each leaving a gap of another two weeks before seeing anyone else indoors. This would allow for symptoms to develop if that is the case, and to limit the spread of the virus by asymptomatic people. It seems like it would solve some of the problems of who to choose to see.

Is this a plausible idea or am I missing something?

Sounds like a better idea than a bubble which could leave some left out and isolated, especially if shielding.

Maybe one household at a time, with a two week gap?
