Just that really. I was tested yesterday morning at a drive through testing centre and now awaiting the results.

I was tested Saturday in work as part of testing in the care sector and haven’t heard anything yet (wales so not sure if that makes a difference)

I'm in Suffolk and a care worker, 3 days by home test. Other careers that went to a centre results back in a day or two.

teenagetantrums · 25/05/2020 20:37

I was tested at work on Thursday. Results back today.

@teenagetrantums I take it that you and your colleagues were tested? How did you get on? I’m hearing horror stories about asymptotic positives in their droves

EyUpMeDuck · 26/05/2020 09:22

My result was emailed to me at 10:30pm last night and followed up with a text this morning. Negative, hurrah! That was 36 hours after being tested.

I'm an NHS nurse. Reported potential symptoms on Friday morning, got a call from testing team within 2 hours. They came to my home to test me Saturday afternoon and I got my negative result (which I was 100% sure would be negative) on Sunday afternoon.

I was tested on Wednesday and had the results on Friday. Negative.

Also in the care sector and we all got tested at work and we had our results 2 days later. Every single resident and member of staff tested negative.

I can’t wait to have the antibody test to see if any of us have had it because I believe it was in the home in the beginning. We had staff with symptoms, residents with symptoms and a high number of ‘pneumonia’ deaths in the space of a few weeks. One member of staff was hospitalised with it. I’m really hoping it’s already been and gone because I don’t think I would mentally be able to cope with that again!

Test took three days to arrive, was collected on Saturday afternoon, still waiting for results. It was a random sampling one so I don't know whether it has lower priority or something.
I'm back to school next week and I was thinking why don't they test us all before we go in, but if these are the kind of timescales then obviously it's not going to be workable.
