Anyone done the Superdrug at-home antibody test?

Has anyone done this test via Superdrug's Online Doctor? How long did you have to wait for your result?

I believe the test is 100% accurate with 97.5% sensitivity. I did mine on Friday and posted it back same day.

Not yet but I was looking at doing this one when it comes back in stock. Good luck!

No but I'm tempted. How much blood did you need to extract 😳?

I was listening to one of the scientists that developed this particular test on the Today programme on Friday. She was asked specifically about Superdrug offering it as a finger prick test, after she'd explained it required a vial if blood. She replied that the test had not been tested in that capacity, that was not how it was supposed to be used, so she could not comment on it's accuracy.

Does anyone know if Supedrug are likely to get any back in stock?

saylor · 25/05/2020 14:36

@Northernsoullover about 8-10 drops of blood, a small vials worth. Thought it was quite a lot for a home test and my finger was feeling quite sore for a while after because I was pushing it to get the blood out.

Can't wait for my results!
