Thoughts about Clinical Contact Caseworker roles as part of "track and trace?"

I've been offered an NHS clinical contact case worker job through the Bring Back Staff thing and I wondered what people's thoughts are about these roles.

I'm correctly receiving maternity allowance (until the end of September) and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth giving this up for bank work as a clinical contact case worker. I do want to help the NHS if I can but it has to make sense financially.

Anyone have any ideas how long this work is likely to be required? Weeks or months?

I've also read that the "track and trace" plan isn't going particularly well so far and that so wondering what I might be signing myself up for!

Excuse any typos - I'm knackered tonight!

Just realised there is already a thread about this. I need sleep.
