Will the Government delay further retirement age to pay for the Corona crisis.

The Corona crisis as we are told every day is costing a huge amount of money.
Afterwards the Johnson Government will be faced with finding some cash.
Yesterday Johnson said that in the present crisis it would be wrong to allow immigrants who live and work (in the health service) in the UK free access to health care.
Given this very strong attitude to saving money will the Government leave the retirement age untouched when they consider how to increase the tax take.

Nothing about this government would surprise me.

I expect they will use it as an excuse to cut public services & benefits including future state pensioners.
I expect small businesses & the self-employed will also be hot hard.
I think they will leave the current pensioners & big businesses alone, you don't bite the hand that feeds you.
All in all, business as usual for a Tory gov.

I'm sure they'll use it as an excuse to make people suffer if they can.
Although presumably they'll be saving on pensions because of a large number of older/elderly people dying early. :-(
