Just interested in people's thoughts. Why do so many right wing politicians play corona down and call it a little flu? Trump, Bolsonaro and Boris at the start.
Is it because they see it as getting in the way money making? Or because of their belief in free markets and people to crack on without too much government control or support?
On reflection it was my friends who are more right wing that took the it's a flu stance at the beginning. It seems like they were blinded to their ideology and were in denial about the truth.
I can't sleep and am lying here pondering 🤔
