Surely I can’t catch the virus if I’ve been self isolating?

DH and I have stayed at home since lockdown and have been getting online shopping etc. I am vulnerable (not shielding) and he is healthy and furloughed.

I’ve woken up today and feel quite warm. I’m not sure if it might just be a headache coming on because I only got 5.5 hours’ sleep.

Surely I can’t possibly have caught the virus from my shopping deliveries?

Its not impossible but incredibly unlikely I would think

It’s incredibly unlikely you’ll have caught anything from shopping. Where are you in your menstrual cycle? It’s normal to have a higher temperature at certain points due to hormonal fluctuations. Or, you feel warm because it’s gotten much warmer and more humid weather wise the past couple of days?

I also felt very warm yesterday although mine was probably a touch of sunstroke from spending all day out in the heat and sun on Monday.

I am on day 16, so about half way through.

Yes it might just be the weather! I’ll see how I am later this afternoon.

Thank you both for replying Flowers

I'm not sure where you are in the country but I woke up feeling very warm this morning - because it is very warm for the time of year (and we haven't changed over to our summer duvet!). I also slept badly. It's already 23 degrees here (London).

I really think you are worrying unnecessarily. Don't be anxious, it's probably nothing.
