After seeing that people are actually SHITTING on beaches because councils haven't opened toilets Shock

Who thinks the government will say people can travel next week - and that councils need to open toilets?

I don't think so

pfrench · 20/05/2020 17:34

Nope. Instead they'll close beaches to stop shitting.

I'd bloody love the second home rule to be lifted, I want to go to Cornwall.

Finfintytint · 20/05/2020 17:35

No, not yet. If councils can’t keep their cleaning staff safe yet , then they won’t be opening. No joined up thinking going on with Boris et al.

Drivingdownthe101 · 20/05/2020 17:36

Don’t think so to be honest. The next review isn’t due until the end of half term anyway. Can’t see them changing anything before that.

Esspee · 20/05/2020 17:36

No chance.

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 20/05/2020 17:36

Definitely not!

Ylvamoon · 20/05/2020 17:37

Angry ... shitting on beaches.

I hope everyone is made to stay at home.

pfrench · 20/05/2020 17:38

To be fair, shitting on the beach is using common sense.. if the alternative is shitting in your car.

crustycrab · 20/05/2020 17:38

Lol, why would they move the next review date because of a half term that doesn't exist anymore?

OneNewName · 20/05/2020 17:40

To be fair, shitting on the beach is using common sense.. if the alternative is shitting in your car.

Oh come on, it's not beyond the foresight of most people to consider taking a bag or something with them, or at least picking the stuff up.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 20/05/2020 17:43

No. July is the tentative date for tourism. Very tentative

CuriousaboutSamphire · 20/05/2020 17:45

As for shitting. That's just disgusting. Everyone has an item of clothing, like socks, that can be sacrificed for bagging and binning an unexpected poo!

stoptherideiwanttogetoff · 20/05/2020 17:48

Shitting behind beach huts .. which we've paid for in advance but been told we can't use.. honestly today the beaches here are jam packed

frasersmummy · 20/05/2020 17:50

Even if they did would be England only.. Scotland Wales and I Think Ireland (apologies if I'm wrong re Ireland), are still on complete lockdown

Figgygal · 20/05/2020 17:51

Not a chance

RainMustFall · 20/05/2020 20:15

No chance.

PanamaPattie · 20/05/2020 20:18

Nope.

wonderstuff · 20/05/2020 20:21

We had a cottage in St Ives booked, obviously we've cancelled, I'm gutted, but no way should people be going on holiday yet. Sad

1forsorrow · 20/05/2020 20:23

Nope. Instead they'll close beaches to stop shitting. No shitting on beaches here because they've opened the toilets.

TimothyTerrible · 20/05/2020 20:24

Zero chance

CassandraKnew · 20/05/2020 20:27

Is there a market for standing on the beach selling doggie pooh bags for people to use?

knittingaddict · 20/05/2020 20:27

NO

TabbyMumz · 20/05/2020 21:30

No, he wants schools to open, so its gently gently..

stoptherideiwanttogetoff · 26/05/2020 12:21
