Should I risk changing holiday to late August?

We were supposed to be going on the 2nd June to Ibiza. We booked our flights with Ryanair and paid 10% deposit to the hotel. The hotel has said we can change the date to whenever we want, and Ryanair has said the same. Ryanair has also said we can get our money back.

Now I really want to go on holiday this year. So I'm wondering if I should risk changing the date to late August/September...or just get my money back. If I change it, what if Spain is still closed to foreigners when we are supposed to go, what if we'd have to quarantine for 2 weeks when we get back?

Anyone any thoughts?

I’d get my money back unless you can go end of the year like December time

I'd cancel all together and try keep your money and use it for a time when everything is safer and you're not at risk of being cancelled and losing money

I don't think you would get a travel insurance policy to cover corona on a new booking.

Not sure. I heard an interview with infectious disease specialist (Michael Osterholm) and he was saying that a second wave may be likely to occur about six months after the first, August seems a bit close to comfort there given number of cases in February. That is speculation, and this virus may behave very differently, but if moving to August means losing chance to get a refund later I probably wouldn't risk it.
