Loss of smell-get tested?

I have only one symptom- loss of smell/impaired taste as a result. It’s not officially a symptomatic according to NHS “Do I have COVID?” Algorithm.

I am an NHS keyworker (not face to face atm) so should I go for a test?

@dottywott

First, thank you for the all the hard work that you and your co-workers and doing to save peoples lives.

Second, if I was you i would probably go for a test to be on the safe side as you are a key worker.

Thanks @disney

I’m not actually interacting with patients face to face (just over phone) but am going to work and interacting with co-workers f2f.

Have booked a test. Wasn’t sure if I qualified if loss of smell was only symptom but the test booking doesn’t ask so I just booked it!

Anyone have loss of smell only and test +ve?
