It's arrived:

Was this not available earlier? It must have been written so it’s a bit baffling why they’ve held it back all day. The confusion around childminders has been particularly high!

Well that was pretty clear guidance, for once!

!We hope that all primary school children can come back to school before the summer holidays, for a month if feasible, although this will be kept under review."

"For primary schools, classes should normally be split in half, with no more than 15 pupils per small group and one teacher (and, if needed, a teaching assistant)"

"For pupils in year 10 and 12, we are asking schools and colleges to supplement remote education with some face to face support for these year groups from 1 June. "

This sounds as though they are intending for year 10 and 12 to come back part time, but there is no mention of primary children coming back part time. If school class sizes are split in half, how will it be possible for all primary school children to attend?

I think everyone will be part time - it's more that years 10 / 12 might be part time and certain subjects only - so maybe only a few hours / or days, while for primary school children it will presumably be either a week on / off or two days per week (ond day for cleaning etc) or one week 3 days and next 2 and so on.
